Chemical company Ketjen Corporation has embraced the Paris Agreement as part of their commitment to sustainability. Nic&Mic is honored to make a small but impactful contribution to Ketjen's sustainability goals, including providing symbolic gifts and decorative elements for conferences and events.
Symbolic gifts and decorative elements
An iconic Ocean Sole giraffe accompanies the Ketjen team to conferences around the world, while custom-made, colorful Acacia trees are distributed to symbolize tree planting activities in Africa. These gifts are used not only in Europe, but also worldwide at fairs and events in the US, Singapore and India.
Impactful results
In 2023, Ketjen helped upcycle 3,972 old slippers and clean up 1,590 kilos of waste on Kenya's beaches, not only helping to reduce plastic waste but also creating stable incomes and employment for local workers.
